The Ambient ASF-1 MKII Sound Fish 1 Hydrophone Mark II was designed for sound recordists looking for an affordable, yet high audio quality professional hydrophone that works with standard audio gear.

With this in mind, the Sound Fish Hydrophone can be fed directly from standard 48V Phantom power making it work right out of the box with all your existing audio gear using standard XLR connectors—no additional adapters required! It is machined out of high quality aluminum-bronze and can easily withstand up to 100m depth of water pressure. The included 10m AKH-II-10 Underwater Cable (specially formulated NBR, polyurethane) with sealed AHS-SX1X0C underwater connector, withstands long-term exposure to sea water.

The Sound Fish also delivers on providing a natural-sounding, low-distortion microphone preamp with a linear frequency response of 7 Hz - 20 kHz. Package includes: ASF-1 MKII, AKH-II-10 cable, BC20 hydrophone case, and manual.
