The K-Tek Interview Pole is a specialized boom pole that doubles as an extended hand grip ideal for media interview situations. This allows the journalist to keep a safe distance from the interviewee and stay out of frame when needed.

The lightweight KIP is made of graphite carbon fiber. It has a reach of 6 ft (1.84 m), collapses down to 38.5 in (97.8 cm) and weighs in at 0.65 lbs (285 g), while maintaining great rigidity. This 2-section interview pole extends with a quick-release and quick-lock, within seconds, and fully lengthens and retracts just as fast.

The K-Tek Interview Pole comes standard with a 3/8" threaded stud and a 5/8" adapter insert. It is compatible with all professional shockmounts and microphone clamps (with 3/8" or 5/8" attachment) for handheld microphones.
