The Ambient Quicklock QRT Quick Release Tip is designed for professional boom poles. It has a self-locking and self-locating action which makes a rigid rattle-free connection possible. The mechanism can be described as a taperlock where a taper stub (screwed to the microphone assembly) is inserted into a tapered hole through a butterfly opening which is twisted until the stub falls into place. Removal is by twisting the outer sleeve. The Quicklok QRT fits any 3/8" thread found on most popular microphone booms. It comes packaged with (2) QRTT Quick Release Threaded Tips and an allen wrench. Available QRT colors: Purple and Black.
