The K-MT offers both the ruggedness of a shockmount and the isolation characteristics of more expensive suspention systems. Like the K-GPS General Purpose Suspension—a popular tool for isolating shotgun microphones—this lightweight, versatile microphone suspension system features K-Tek's unique 4-point polymer microphone suspenders (K-SUS). Fitted into a cylindrical aluminum frame, the suspenders stretch to accommodate most microphones. The unit's universal mounting system with stadard 3/8" - 16 thread attaches easily to a boom pole or any other fixture.
