The KEG-100 Avalon Graphite Boom Pole from K-Tek has a collapsed length of 2' 4" | 71 cm, an extended length of 8' 4" | 254 cm and only weighs 15.28 oz | 433 g. This 5-section Graphite boom pole is uncabled. The top attachment is a 3/8" – 16 male thread and the bottom attachment is a Delrin Base. Using the Avalon knurled collars on K-Tek's well-known locking mechanisms and trusted by industry professionals worldwide, this boom pole is easy to transport and quick to deploy. The base is made of Delrin and is fixed to the bottom of the pole.

Crafted of the same high-density graphite fiber used in the K-Tek Klassic line, Avalon boom poles are designed to meet the needs of ENG and DV Camera crews. The series offers many of the same benefits of the original Klassic boom poles in an affordable package—eliminating some deluxe features but without sacrificing any of the K-Tek quality.
