The SM-4 uses high quality rubber "O" rings for the microphone suspension. The angle is adjustable and can be locked into the desired position using the locking knob. Fits most cylindrical-style condenser or short shotgun-style microphones from 19 mm (.75") to 31 mm (1.25"). Built with standard 5/8"-27 female microphone stand adapter.
