Phonak's Roger technology uses the latest digital standard and operates on the license-free 2.4 GHz band. The wireless Roger communication system includes five components (each sold separately):

1. Roger Earpiece - a virtually invisible and tiny earpiece and wireless receiver
2. Roger BaseStation - a stationary transmitter that delivers high quality speech signals to the wireless Roger Earpiece
3. Roger TouchScreen Mic - a mobile transmitter with a built-in mic
4. Roger Repeater - designed to allow enhanced listening coverage over very large areas
5. Roger Multimedia Hub - a versatile transmitter that can be connected to any multimedia device

The wireless Roger communication system is installed at the push of a button. The easy set-up and immediate connection help save valuable time. Setting up a Roger system requires no frequency channel allocation: adaptive frequency hopping reduces the risk of interference.

The Roger BaseStation stationary transmitter, delivers high quality speech signals to the wireless Roger Earpiece. The BaseStation's use of Phonak's 2.4 MHz band and fully automatic frequency hopping technology ensures that the signal is transferred to the in-ear receiver with unrivalled sound quality.
