The Wisycom MPR51-ENG is a single channel diversity receiver which tunes from 470 - 700 MHz and can be used in either narrow or wideband mode with a selectable 100/200 KHz filter. Via software, the receiver can be set to operate in either Wide or Narrowband mode. Narrowband allows more 50% band efficiency and about 3 dB extra sensitivity and noise rejection.

The voltage-controlled oscillator allows for an ultra-fast spectrum scan. The receiver can even automatically program the transmitter over infrared after a scan. The MPR51-ENG can also be monitored and controlled through a USB connection to a computer running the WisyCom Manager 2.0 software, which can also read scan data from the receiver.

Flexible battery options allow the unit to be powered via a rechargeable lithium battery pack or two AA batteries. The battery pack can be charged inside the unit over USB or in a dedicated charger.
